Why apply for admission via our Web site?

  • You can apply for admission at any time, 24/7.
  • Your application is sent directly to us.
  • You will receive immediate confirmation that we have received your application for admission. After that, you simply have to pay the fee and send us any documents we may need to complete your admission process.

To apply for admission to a college that is a member of the regional admission service (Service régional d'admission au collégial de Québec - SRACQ), candidates must be at least 16 years old at the time of the electronic transaction via SRACQ. For younger candidates, the application for admission must be accompanied by written parental consent.

Born in Québec :No birth certificate required

Born outside Canada : - A copy of your birth certificate showing your parents' names and your place of birth
- A copy of your Canadian citizenship certificate or the document you received from Citizenship and Immigration Canada

 

Studies in Québec
Secondary school studies completed : No reports or transcripts required.
Secondary school studies underway (in the youth sector) : If you have submitted an admission application for the Autumn 2010 semester during a previous round, you can send us a more recent copy of your academic report if you wish. If you do so, indicate on this report the file number assigned to you by SRACQ when you first applied.
Secondary school studies underway (adult education sector) : The official list of the courses you are taking showing the course numbers. This list can be transmitted on line by a person mandated by your adult education centre..
College studies :No reports or transcripts required.
University studies :No reports or transcripts required.

 

Studies outside Québec
Studies outside Québec The transcripts for your last three years of study.

Admission fees and payment

The admission fee is 35,00 $1. This sum covers the cost of studying the application and is not refundable.

For candidates who have studied outside Québec, the fee is $80.00. This sum covers the cost of studying their personal files and preparing a comparative assessment of studies. It is not refundable.

You can pay this fee in several different ways :

  • Caisse populaire Desjardins and the Desjardins Accès D system. You can pay the fee at a Caisse populaire Desjardins. After you have completed your application for admission on line, SRACQ immediately posts a confirmation of reception notice that includes the confirmation number assigned to you. You can print out this coupon and include it with your payment at the Caisse. If you have access to the Desjardins Accès D service, you can use it to pay your admission fee as follows. First enter SRACQ in the Name of Organization field, then select Postsecondary Education in the Category field and click Search. Select Service régional Admission Collège Québec (SRACQ) (QC) and validate. Enter SRACQ in the Description field and validate. When you pay your fee, please enter your 7-figure confirmation number in the appropriate field (Variable reference number). (See example)
  • Registered cheque or postal money Write the confirmation number you were assigned on your cheque or money order.
     
  • Visa - MasterCard credit card. Secure on-line payment. You can pay on line using a VISA or MasterCard credit card via the secure Desjardins payment system which uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) data encryption protocols. Desjardins ensures the protection of confidential information and transactions. This payment option can be accessed from the student's personal file or right after the application for admission has been submitted on line.

NB: The admission fee must be paid within 7 days of the time you submitted your application.

 

If you have already submitted an application for Autumn 2010 term during an earlier round, you do not have to pay the 35,00 $ (or 80,00 $) admission fee.
